Land of Hope and Glory

Lisa Lockland-Bell performing Land of Hope and Glory with the Queensland Pops Orchestra

This rousing concert was recorded ‘live’ at the Sydney Opera House in June 2000 and is available on CD and video by overwhelming popular demand. Colin Harper leads a men’s and women’s chorus and orchestra in some of the most well-known Scots and Gaelic folk and popular songs, using lush orchestrations specially written for this concert. These songs include ‘Skye Boat Song’ and ‘Will Ye No Come Back Again’ in emotional performances that feature the tenor Greg Moore, soprano Lisa Lockland, and harmonica player Wendy Harper as well as various excellent bagpipers. Scotland The Brave is a truly stirring and inspiring celebration of Scottish culture.
